Myths about burning fat –

Lets accept it .Most of us join gym ,start working out and get our eating habits in order to lose fat .Its not just about getting our bodies in shape but  improving our mental fitness and social status. It’s a thing we do for oomphing up our personalities ,however there is so much of misinformation about losing that we are more than often discouraged and we quit.

So let us innamurate you common myths related to losing fat so that you can simply avoid them .

  1. Counting your calories -
  • Calculating the amount of calories yo require is a tedious task which depends on many a factors –

Age , Height, Muscle mass, job , Workouts , medical condition , amount of water you consume etc.

  • Counting every single calorie you consume is not only tiresome, its boring & irritating as well which kills your drive.  
  • Better way out is –
  • Eat real whole food. .
  • Eat when hungry .
  • Include Nuts and seeds, beans & legumes, fruits & vegetables etc in your diet.
  1. Increasing meal frequency:

 

  • Yes, eating six meals a day is a good method for physique competitors but it doesn’t work for the masses who don’t have the drive to make it a day job to have so many meals a day.

 

  • There is hardly any evidence that ppoves eating more frequently increases metabolism.

 

  • Better Way out –
  • Don’t Stress if you miss a meal .

 

  • Keep yourself hydrated. Drink a lot of water.

 

  • Don’t eat Junk food.

 

 

    3.Doing lots of cardio

 

  • Jogging or any reptative exercise for that matter is a waste of time, if you want to loose weight.

 

  • It not only kills metabolism but robs your body of strength too .

 

  • To burn boy fat you need to build muscles and that can be achieved by high intensity exercise only.

 

 

 

 

  • Better thing to do –

 

  • High intensity interval cardio is more effective.

 

  • Few minutes of intense cardio is more helpful.

 

                       

  1. Avoid eating fatty food.

 

  • A gram of fat has 9 calories as compared to 4 of carbs , but ultimately it doesn’t make much of a difference to your health.

 

  • Many healthy fats have immense benefits . those are –

 

  • Wild fish

 

  • Extra version coconut oil.

 

  • Almonds etc.

 

  • Better solution is –

 

  • Enjoy some fat and remain happy.

 

  • Just ensure your sources are healthy.like – nuts, fish, seeds etc.

 

 

5.Lift light weight and do higher reps

  • Lifting light weights with high amount of repetations is similar to longer cardio of low intensity of no help.

 

  • Higher intensity exercises help burn fat and tone up body.

 

  • Prefered way –

 

  • Use loads that you struggle to lift.

 

  • Don’t go for more than 15 repetitions.

 

  • Move as fast as possible.

 

 

  1. Breakfast is most important meal

 

 

  • Your body doesn’t behave differently with the time at which you take meal.

 

 

  • Infact if you eat in morning it creates a craving for more calories through out the day.

 

  • Better Way out is –

 

  • Try Intermittent fasting . i.e eat when hungry,don’t when not.

 

7 . Weight lose has genetic limitations.

  • It’s a myth.
  • Everyone can shed a few kilos.

 

  • Solution – 
  • Be determined & train hard.
